Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis enjoy private trip to Harry Potter TV series set

Princess Kate and Prince William took their three children on a private visit to the set of HBO’s new Harry Potter TV series near their home in Windsor, according to new claims.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 43, brought Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven, to watch an episode being filmed at a purpose-built Hogsmeade Station constructed close to their residence at Adelaide Cottage.

The children met members of the cast, including Dominic McLaughlin, 11, who plays Harry Potter.

An on-set source told the Mail: “There was only one night of filming there, so it was a magical ticket.”

Prince Louis was given the chance to ride the Hogwarts Express along a half-mile track built through the estate’s woodland.

The outing came as George, Charlotte, and Louis returned to school after the summer holidays.

The Wales children were last seen in August, when the family joined King Charles and Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh for Sunday Mass at Crathie Kirk on the Balmoral estate.

They arrived by car with Prince William driving.

Charlotte wore a polka-dot summer dress and a white cardigan, while her brothers matched in shirts and knitted jumpers.

It was the first time Charlotte had been seen in public since accompanying her father to the Women’s EUROs Final in Basel, Switzerland, where she wore the same navy dress.

The Princess of Wales sent a positive message to England’s women’s rugby team over the weekend.

On Saturday, Kate, who is patron of the Rugby Football Union, sent her support ahead of the Women’s Rugby World Cup Final at Twickenham.
