Coleen Nolan, 60, sparks fury with ‘shameless’ social media post after Kim Woodburn’s death following pair’s feud

Coleen Nolan, 60, has come under fire from fans of the late Kim Woodburn after returning to social media following the How Clean Is Your House? star’s death.

Woodburn’s death was announced by her representatives on Tuesday morning, with the Celebrity Big Brother star passing away following a “short illness”.

A representative confirmed the sad news in a statement that read: “It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness.

“Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person. Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate.

“We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career.

“We kindly ask that Kim’s husband and close friends are given the time and privacy they need to grieve. We will not be releasing any further details.”

Tributes from far and wide have since flooded in for the outspoken reality TV star, with many fans branding her a “legend” and “icon” for her no-holds-barred rants and brash television stints.

However, one person who is yet to share their condolences is Nolan, who was famously embroiled in a feud with the TV personality following their joint stint in the Big Brother house in 2017.

The pair were involved in numerous heated clashes while inside the Big Brother house, with Woodburn claiming after the series she felt “bullied” by Nolan and other housemates.

Woodburn appeared on Nolan’s panel show, Loose Women, after their CBB stint, but rather than letting bygones be bygones, the two failed to reconcile and Woodburn stormed off the show.

Last year, Nolan addressed their Loose Women fallout and long-running feud, claiming it almost made her quit her career in showbiz. “I can honestly say it was the worst time of my life. I very nearly threw the towel in and thought I couldn’t do it anymore,” she told her fans at a stage show in Sunderland, according to the Daily Mail.

However, Nolan added: “And then I thought…’I’m not going to let Kim Woodburn finish my career…she’s a cleaning lady!'”

On the morning Woodburn’s death was announced, Nolan ignored mentioning their long-running spat or the sad news. Instead, the Loose Women star flaunted her “summer holiday” to Greece.

Nolan shared a clip before the news broke of Woodburn’s death, of her boarding a plane. “Off we pop on our summer holidays,” she captioned the post.

Once landed in Greece and after the news of Woodburn’s passing was announced, Nolan followed up her first post with a second showing her arriving in Rhodes.

An hour or so later, as tributes for Woodburn began to flood in from the world of showbiz, Nolan also shared a clip from inside her hotel room as she looks set to enjoy a few days of sun.

Nolan’s Instagram activity has since caught the eye of several social media users and Woodburn fans who took to X to voice their upset at the Loose Women’s star’s activity.

“Nasty Nolan SMIRKING and heading on a Summer holiday on the day Kim Woodburn has died? She has no shame. Heartless woman,” one X user furiously typed.

A second echoed: “The fact that coleen nolan is strutting about on some cruise rn when kim woodburn has passed…”

“I’d advise the despicable Coleen Nolan to keep off social media today and try show some class,” a third weighed in before a fourth addressed their feud: “I’ll never forget how #LooseWomen bullied Kim Woodburn on the show when Coleen Nolan brought her sister on to gang up on her on that episode.

“I don’t want to see any posts from loose women or Coleen Nolan saying RIP. #CBB.” (sic)

One person who has used Instagram to pay tribute to Woodburn was her husband, Peter, who released a 12-word post dedicated to his late wife.

“My wonderful, beautiful, Kim passed away last night. God bless, my love, xx xx,” he penned.

Elsewhere, several celebs used their platform to express their sadness. Fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemates Jedward penned on X: “Rest in Peace My Lovely You had our back when we got bullied in CBB and we will never forget that. There will never be another Kim Woodburn.”
