Brooklyn Beckham, 26, ‘covers up’ tattoo dedicated to mum Victoria, 52, amid rumoured family rift

Brooklyn Beckham has obscured a tattoo reading “mama’s boy” that runs over his heart with a bunch of flowers, new photographs from Glamour magazine reveal.

The floral design, which emerged as part of an interview and photoshoot, is believed to represent his wife Nicola Peltz’s bridal bouquet.

The original tattoo was inked in 2018 as a tribute to his mother Victoria Beckham. The modification, reportedly carried out within the past year, shows blooms surrounding the distinctive wording.

The 26-year-old model is said to have approximately 100 tattoos, with around 70 dedicated to Peltz and her family.

The tattoo alteration comes amid reports of ongoing tensions between the Beckhams and Nicola Peltz.

Brooklyn and Nicola were notably absent from David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations in London last month.

The couple married in April 2022, and relations between Nicola and Victoria have reportedly been strained since the wedding.

Sources told the Daily Mail that the snub has led to Victoria experiencing sleepless nights, describing the situation as her “worst nightmare”.

On the Glamour cover, Brooklyn poses with his shirt open whilst Peltz hooks a finger through his belt loops, cementing their status as a united couple.

An insider told the Daily Mail: “Victoria dislikes Nicola intensely and it’s been war behind the scenes pretty much ever since the wedding. It’s always been a tug of war about Brooklyn, and Victoria has not wanted to let go.”

The source added: “Victoria feels he has been absorbed into the Peltzes and that his life is all about that family…

“Even when Nicola and Brooklyn went out to Paris for Victoria’s fashion show, they stayed with her family because her mother likes to go to the couture shows.”

The fashion designer is reportedly struggling with her son’s allegiance to his wife’s family.

Brooklyn and Nicola are reportedly hurt by the family fallout but remain united. A friend told the Daily Mail: “Everything they do, they do together.”

In the Glamour interview, Brooklyn addressed the ongoing speculation about family tensions.

He advised: “Don’t listen to all the nonsense. Keep your head down, work hard, stay friendly. There will always be people who talk. The important thing is that we’re happy together.”

Brooklyn met Nicola in 2019, one year after getting his “mama’s boy” tattoo. He has described her as his “best friend” who “changed everything” in his life.
