Victoria Beckham offers olive branch to son Brooklyn Beckham as oldest son snubs David Beckham once again

Victoria Beckham has extended a public olive branch to her eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, amid rumours of a growing family feud.

The fashion designer and former Spice Girl shared a heartfelt family photo on Instagram that prominently featured Brooklyn, accompanied by a message of love.

The 51-year-old’s social media posts come as tensions reportedly continue to simmer within the Beckham clan, with Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz notably absent from David Beckham’s recent 50th birthday celebrations.

The public display of affection suggests Victoria may be attempting to heal the increasingly public rift with her son, and in the Instagram Story shared yesterday, Victoria posted a family snapshot showing Brooklyn with his arm around his younger sister Harper, alongside siblings Romeo and Cruz, and Victoria’s parents, Jackie and Anthony Adams.

“We both love you all so much!” Victoria wrote in the caption, speaking on behalf of herself and husband David, and tagging Brooklyn and his siblings.

The post came just one day after Victoria had shared several old family photos to celebrate her father Tony’s 78th birthday, which also featured Brooklyn prominently, however, neither Brooklyn nor Nicola has publicly responded to Victoria’s affectionate messages.

The Beckham family rift has been intensifying in recent weeks, with Brooklyn and Nicola’s absence from David’s milestone 50th birthday celebrations fuelling speculation of serious tensions.

The couple missed both a black-tie dinner in London and an intimate gathering at the family’s £10million Cotswolds mansion earlier this month.

According to sources, Brooklyn and Nicola had initially intended to attend David’s birthday bash but cancelled at short notice and said: “Brooklyn not turning up was a real blow to David,” a source told the Mirror. “Brooklyn was close with his dad growing up, but he is married now.”

The couple also reportedly missed other recent family events, deepening concerns about the growing divide.

In another bitter twist, Brooklyn was reportedly in London at the same time as his father this week, yet the pair did not meet, as sources claimed to The Sun that Brooklyn was in the capital for a “huge” six-figure campaign with designer brand Moncler, whilst David attended the Chelsea Flower Show with King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The father and son were said to be just “five minutes away by car” from each other.

“Brooklyn and David couldn’t have been closer in distance yesterday, but their relationship is still strained,” a source revealed. “Neither of them would have known they were so close in proximity.”

Tensions reportedly flared between Brooklyn and his younger brother Romeo over Romeo’s relationship with Kim Turnbull, who previously dated Brooklyn’s friend Rocco Ritchie.

Brooklyn is said to be suspicious of Kim’s motives for dating Romeo, with TMZ reporting that Brooklyn and Nicola now refuse to attend any family event where Kim is present.

It has been understood that Brooklyn felt uncomfortable about his ex being in attendance at David’s birthday celebration, with a source stating: “She [Nicola] has never told him what to do and has been nothing but supportive — she’s a loyal wife.”

The apparent olive branch from Victoria comes as reports suggest David is “desperate to make amends with Brooklyn,” fearing history might repeat itself following his own fallout with his father Ted in 2005.

Sources claim Brooklyn has “found refuge” with Nicola’s family in the US amid the tensions, with one insider telling the Daily Mail: “There has been no call, no contact, nothing.”
