UK band Remember Monday have broken their silence after finishing 19th at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Switzerland.
The trio received zero points from the public vote but managed to secure 88 points overall.
The group performed their song “What The Hell Just Happened?” at the competition in Basel, earning a respectable jury score despite the lack of public support.
In a statement released just hours ago, the band members – Charlotte, Holly and Lauren – shared their positive reflections on the experience, describing it as “one of the most surreal and emotional moments” of their lives.
The trio performed in Bridgerton-style outfits and were seen giving peace signs to the camera when they discovered they had received nothing from the public vote.
Their song featured James Bond theme orchestration and glam guitar elements, which impressed the jury voters. Italy awarded them 12 points – the maximum possible score a country can give.
The track was co-written by Danish songwriter Thomas Stengaard, who previously helped pen Denmark’s 2013 Eurovision-winning song “Only Teardrops.”
Despite the disappointing public response, Remember Monday achieved a Top 10 Jury score and reported “massive streaming numbers” for their Eurovision entry.

In their full statement, Remember Monday wrote: “WOW – what a ride! Three best mates walked onto the world’s biggest music stage and came out with a Top 10 Jury score, massive streaming numbers, and memories that will last a lifetime.”
The band emphasised that this is “just the beginning” for them, announcing several upcoming projects.
“We’ve got new music coming your way, a UK & Ireland headline tour this year, a summer packed with festivals, and we’ll be hitting the stage at Wembley Stadium for the Summertime Ball… no big deal!”
They concluded their message with gratitude: “Eurovision? Completed it. Let’s go! Charlotte, Holly and Lauren x.”
Remember Monday’s 19th place finish continues the UK’s challenging Eurovision history, with more than two decades without a win.
They placed just one position behind Olly Alexander, who represented the UK in 2024.
The band did manage to break the pattern of UK acts finishing with zero points overall, despite receiving none from the public vote.
