JoJo Siwa’s ex-partner Kath Ebbs has launched a blistering attack on the star and former Love Islander Chris Hughes following their shock breakup after Celebrity Big Brother.
The 27-year-old non-binary content creator has accused the 21-year-old singer of “attacks on her character” in another recent statement.
The public dispute erupted after Siwa allegedly ended their relationship at the show’s wrap party last week, just hours after leaving the house.
The breakup came amid speculation about Siwa’s close friendship with Hughes, 32, which had raised eyebrows during their time on the ITV programme.
Siwa has since denied that Hughes was the reason for the split, but it seems her ex-partner isn’t able to let their close friendship go.
In a statement shared with The Sun, Ebbs said: “It’s really unfortunate that my relationship with this person is being reduced to untrue allegations about what happened at a party.

“The public has only heard one side of the story. Attacks on my character are not something I take lightly, especially from someone I cared for deeply and shared a committed relationship with.”
Their comments come after Siwa appeared on The Viall Files podcast on Wednesday, where she gave her version of events surrounding their breakup.
Speaking on the podcast, Siwa firmly denied that Hughes played any role in her decision to end the relationship and stated: “Chris does not have absolutely anything to do with it. Chris and I are friends, we have a very great friendship.”
She described their bond as “a very special bond, unlike any friendship I’ve ever created” but insisted that her “situations are completely unrelated and that kind of got misconstrued”.
Both parties repeatedly maintain that their relationship is strictly “platonic” and a “soulmate friendship”.
During her appearance, Siwa explained that the breakup wasn’t as straightforward as Kath had portrayed it and explained: “They [Kath] said I broke up with them at the wrap party. That’s not entirely the story.
According to Siwa, Ebbs initially didn’t want to attend the wrap party but made a last-minute decision to come and upon arrival, Siwa faced questioning about her behaviour on the show.
“All I’m saying to every question they ask is ‘I don’t know’. By the 16th time somebody asks you, ‘Are you happy, do you wanna end things?’ you’re just gonna spew your guts.”
Ebbs has since taken to social media to express their feelings about the situation and reposted a TikTok video which accused Hughes of “manipulating” Siwa during their time on Celebrity Big Brother.
The video claimed Hughes was “a 32-year-old man who just pretended to be her safe space then discarded her when she wouldn’t reciprocate on international TV even though she’s a lesbian in a full relationship”.

Whilst Ebbs seems to be adamant in getting their truth out, Siwa has been revealing how much she has missed being in the UK.
She recently posted a TikTok explaining how much she “loves” a cup of tea after spending 20 days with Jack P Shephard and no longer likes American food.
