Reality TV star Nicola McLean admitted she’s unhappy about being snubbed by I’m A Celebrity’s spin-off show.
Ms McLean, 44, took part in the original series back in 2008, but hasn’t been asked to feature in the second series of the South Africa edition, which sees previous contestants returning to the ITV competition in a new setting.
Speaking exclusively to GB News vie Which Bingo, the former glamour model admitted she was “fuming” about not having been asked.
“That’s it ruined,” she added before continuing: “But it’s only the second series, isn’t it? So let’s hope I get the shout up.
“But no, I haven’t been asked yet, and they really should have me because I’m just so outspoken and I won’t edit and self-edit.”
Reflecting on her tendency to say how she feels, she confessed: “You know, there’s a risk that I can get cancelled, so that’s good for them!
“So I don’t know why I haven’t been asked, but I always say maybe now, because I’ve done so much Big Brother after the jungle, maybe they’ve forgotten I did it. So yeah, need to remind them.”
When asked about the line-up for the upcoming South Africa show, Ms McLean expressed her hopes for former footballer Jimmy Bullard to win.
“Well, Jimmy Bullard is my husband’s best friend,” she noted.
“They played together at West Ham, and they lived together when they were really young, like 19, and then they moved from West Ham to Peterborough and lived together again.
“So I’ve known him for years and years and years. He is just brilliant. So I cannot wait.
“He’s got to win it, because there was such a… He had a disservice, an injustice, the first time around, when he got voted out first, and I think people didn’t get to see his personality, but he’s so fabulous, and he’s really kind as well. So I’d love him to win.”

“I mean, don’t get me wrong, would I turn it down? Probably not, but it isn’t on my bucket list.
“I honestly can’t dance. I’m not even lying to you – if my husband was here and you said, ‘can she dance?’ he’d go, ‘no.’
“It’s not even like he’d be polite. And I also am extremely ADHD and dyslexic.
“Learning a routine for me, I’m not sure that it can happen, and I get bored extremely quickly.
“It would probably very amusing. And I know people never know this about me, but I’m super nervous and anxious, like you know, in social situations, I need to have a couple of drinks before I relax. And I don’t think I can do it drunk!”
