Clarkson’s Farm’s Harriet Cowan shows support for Charlie Kirk’s wife Erika with touching gesture after widow’s powerful statement

Harriet Cowan, the breakout star of the latest season of Amazon’s global smash Clarkson’s Farm, has led a handful of British celebs to reach out to Erika Kirk publicly.

Ms Kirk, the widow of murdered conservative activist Charlie Kirk, delivered her first public address on Friday evening, speaking from Turning Point USA’s Phoenix headquarters, where her late husband once hosted his popular podcast.

Mrs Kirk, 36, expressed gratitude to law enforcement for their swift action following Wednesday’s fatal shooting at Utah Valley University.

“I want to thank first responders who struggled heroically to save Charles’ life, and the police who acted bravely to ensure there were no other victims on that terrible afternoon,” she said whilst fighting back tears.

She praised officers for working “tirelessly to capture my husband’s assassin so that he can be brought to justice.”

Her remarks came hours after authorities announced the arrest of Tyler Robinson, 22, who faces charges in connection with Mr Kirk’s death.

Mr Robinson and others involved were described by Mrs Kirk as “the evildoers responsible” for her husband’s assassination. “They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith, and of God’s merciful love,” she declared through tears.

The widow issued a powerful warning to those behind the attack. “You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife; the cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry,” she said.

She continued with steely determination: “If you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea what you just unleashed across this entire country and this world. You have no idea.”

Mrs Kirk echoed the same sentiment over on social media, which caught the attention of several well-known faces, including Cowan.

She penned on Instagram: “The world is evil. But our Savior. Our Lord. Our God. Не…Не is so good. I will never have the words. Ever.

“The sound of this widow weeping echoes throughout this world like a battle cry. I have no idea what any of this means. But baby, I know you do, and so does our Lord.

In a show of solidarity, Cowan ‘liked’ the post shared by Mrs Kirk. The Clarkson’s Farm star’s sweet gesture was replicated by the likes of Susanna Reid, Rebekah Vardy, Laura Woods, and Bev Turner, among others.

The couple met in 2018 during what Mr Kirk once described as “almost an interview” over dinner in New York City. They married in 2021 and had two children – a three-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son.

“Now and for all eternity, he will stand at His Savior’s side, wearing the glorious crown of a martyr,” Mrs Kirk said.

She recalled telling their daughter: “Baby, daddy loves you so much. Don’t you worry. He’s on a work trip with Jesus.”

Mr Kirk, 31, was fatally shot on Wednesday whilst conducting an outdoor “Prove Me Wrong” debate at Utah Valley University, where he regularly invited students to challenge his political views.

Mr Robinson, a Washington County resident, had reportedly discussed his opposition to Mr Kirk’s political positions with family members before the attack.

Vice President JD Vance accompanied Mrs Kirk and her husband’s body on Air Force Two from Utah to Phoenix on Thursday.

He later thanked Governor Spencer Cox, Utah law enforcement, FBI Director Kash Patel, and the public for their assistance in the investigation.

President Trump spoke with Mrs Kirk on Thursday, with the widow telling him during Friday’s address: “Mr President, my husband loved you and he knew that you loved him too.”
