BBC The Traitors star unleashes brilliant anti-woke rant: ‘We need REAL journalists – that’s why I LOVE GB News!’

The Traitors contestant Nathan Khider has lauded GB News and explained exactly why he fears for the future of Britain in such uncertain times during an exclusive interview with the People’s Channel.

Khider shot to fame earlier this year on the Claudia Winkleman-fronted BBC show, although his time in the iconic castle was short-lived as he was one of the first ousted from the show by his castmates despite his Faithful status.

Being part of one of the country’s biggest shows, one would be forgiven for thinking Khider would’ve adopted a mainstream attitude to appease the masses.

However, that couldn’t be further from the truth. “Look, I think people should be able to have an opinion,” he began when asked about the topic of cancel culture at this year’s National Reality TV Awards.

He continued: “You’re allowed to have an opinion. If people take offence to that, they’re entitled to take offence to it, but it shouldn’t be a problem.

“If I’m offended by something, I’ll take it with a pinch of salt then I move on. It doesn’t mean I then start shouting and screaming and crying and chucking my toys out of the pram.

“You just have to deal with it. There’s six billion people in the world. You’re not going to all get on. Someone’s not going to agree with your values, and that’s also a good thing.

“If someone doesn’t agree with your values, accept it and move on, but you can learn from each other, you don’t need to be ignorant about it. Just learn from each other’s values. It’s really simple. It shouldn’t be that difficult.”

On what makes him proud to be British, Khider had a simple answer: “Our heritage. Where we’ve come from and also where we’re potentially going.”

However, he also admitted his apprehension at the direction the country was heading in. “But I have a problem of where we’re going at the moment,” he explained.

“Where we’re heading is… it’s shallow waters that I don’t like – or deep water, shall I say, and I don’t like it. I feel it’s very uncertain.

“There’s a lot of propaganda in the news, that’s always been a problem, there’s a lot going on, there’s a lot of scaremongering, which I don’t like.”

Luckily for Khider, there’s a solution. “I think we need real journalists, and I love GB News for what they bring. I really enjoy it,” he said.

It’s no surprise then that his dream Celebrity Traitors contestant would be the one and only Ricky Gervais.

“Ricky Gervais is my man,” Khider said. “He’s my favourite comedian so I would love him to win it.

“He doesn’t bulls**t, just says it how it is. I love the fact that he’s not woke and he just gets on with just whatever he says. It’s a joke. And if you can’t take a joke, step away. Like, just please get out.”

Despite his early exit from The Traitors, Khider also explained that he still wouldn’t change anything if he had another crack at it.

“Look, you play your game. I don’t have any regrets at all, but if there was a bit of advice I could give somebody else… If you were Faithful, for the first couple of days, shut up! Don’t say anything.

“I’m quite outspoken, I can talk to anyone, I can have a conversation, and there’s loads of stuff that you don’t see.

“And obviously during the day you’re filming all day, so there’s a lot that you don’t get to see. So when it comes to the roundtable, people are like, ‘Oh, what happened with Nathan?’ But I had loads of conversations, so from that they might have thought, I want to get Nathan out.”
