Ellie Costello has made a candid admission about her own wedding arrangements while discussing the extravagant nuptials planned for Steve Jobs’ daughter.
During a conversation with Stephen, Ellie noted that the tech heiress had invited 500 guests to her celebration, describing it as “a big wedding” with the entire village under lockdown for the event.
“You know the goodie bag will be amazing,” she remarked, prompting Stephen to suggest possibilities ranging from iPads to MacBooks.
The conversation then shifted to Ellie’s own wedding which took place in April at Chelsea Old Town Hall, with Stephen pointing out that he had not received a gift bag at her celebration.
Stephen said: “I didn’t get a goodie bag at your wedding.”
She said: “I know, I know. But at least I had free-flowing rosé at my wedding.”

Stephen pointed out: “I don’t drink.”
Ellie responded: “Did you not try the non-alcoholic version of rosé?”
Stephen stated: “I didn’t even know there was one.”
She said: “I covered all fronts. You had some non-alcoholic beers though. I did provide.”
The presenter’s wedding to Gerard Durkan took place on April 12 at Chelsea Old Town Hall, where the couple exchanged vows before family and friends.
Ellie wore a white mini dress with long sleeves and buttons, accessorised with a beaded headband for the occasion.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds were showered with confetti by well-wishers as they left the historic building.
The presenter announced her engagement on social media at the time, to the delight of GB News fans.
She posted a photograph of her ring and the message: “There’s so little good news in the world right now… I hope you don’t mind me sharing some of my own.
“I said YES.”
