Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have unveiled a social media account dedicated to their four dogs, marking their latest update as tensions with the Beckham family continue to simmer.
The actress, 30, announced the venture on Sunday evening through her Instagram stories, describing it as a “very important announcement” before directing followers to the new account named pelzbeckhambabies.
The page showcases their pets Birdalina, Lamb, Label and Angel, and had attracted 134 followers within hours of launching.
This development emerges as the couple, who married in April 2022, remain estranged from Brooklyn’s famous parents and siblings, with recent reports suggesting the 26-year-old and his wife have been blocked on Instagram by his younger brothers Cruz and Romeo.
The Instagram venture represents just one element of the couple’s expanding portfolio of joint projects, with reports suggesting they are establishing the Peltz Beckham Foundation in Los Angeles.
The charitable organisation will focus on rescuing and providing shelter for homeless dogs, according to sources.
The new social media account exclusively follows Brooklyn and Nicola’s personal profiles, whilst featuring photographs of each of their four canine companions.
Nicola’s announcement coincides with news of her latest professional endeavour as she prepares to both star in and serve as executive producer on the thriller Pretty Ugly.
This marks her first executive producer credit, adding to her previous acting roles in films including Transformers: Age of Extinction and Lola, which she also wrote and directed.
The family discord has manifested in several public incidents, including Brooklyn’s absence from David’s 50th birthday celebrations.
Sources suggest Brooklyn chose to skip the milestone event as he believes his family has not treated Nicola appropriately.
One insider stated: “He just doesn’t feel his family has treated Nicola well and now that he’s grown so close to her family in the States, he doesn’t really feel like he fits into the Beckham family right now.”
The social media dynamics have shifted dramatically, with Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 22, reportedly blocking their eldest brother and sister-in-law on Instagram.
Despite the tensions, Brooklyn did acknowledge his younger sister Harper’s 14th birthday last week, posting a photograph with the message: “Happy birthday Harper, we love u x.”
The couple’s professional trajectories appear increasingly intertwined, with Brooklyn reportedly pursuing the charity venture alongside his wife in America.
Pretty Ugly, written and directed by Erica Dunton, will feature Peltz alongside Jazzy De Lisser and Mary Stuart Masterson, with Dunton bringing experience from productions including Ted Lasso and Outer Banks.
Meanwhile, Nicola has publicly reinforced her commitment to Brooklyn through social media posts from their recent St Tropez holiday, captioning photographs “My everything @BrooklynBeckhamPeltz”.
Sources indicate the couple visited London in May for a Moncler advertisement shoot, though they reportedly did not meet with Brooklyn’s family despite filming just over a mile from the Beckham residence in Holland Park.
Their growing distance from the Beckham clan appears matched by strengthening ties to Nicola’s American family.
