Sir Rod Stewart has taken to Instagram to share an exciting career update that has left fans buzzing.
The 80-year-old rocker took to the social media platform on Thursday evening to joyfully announce he’s “loving every b***** minute” of his One Last Time tour.
He penned: “The next leg of the One Last Time tour has officially kicked off and I’m loving every b***** minute of it!”
Sir Rod posted a carousel of snaps from the tour, showing him wearing a metallic silver and gold blazer paired with an open white ruffled shirt and pinstriped black trousers, a classic and iconic outfit.
The Maggie May singer looked elated to be back on stage, smiling and dancing, and even jovially throwing two fist bumps to the crowd.
People flocked to the comments to pen heartfelt words and emojis about the concert.
“I can’t get enough of him! I’ve been going since the 70’s and he never disappoints”, one user beamed, another: “Fantastic! enjoyed every minute of it.”
The globally renowned Rockstar has 1.5million followers on the site, a small demonstration of his career success.
Stewart is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 120 million records worldwide.
The music legend has further solidified his fame with numerous awards, including two inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
The platinum-album acclaimed singer had been unwell in the run-up to his highly anticipated Glastonbury set, postponing a few of his US tour dates.
He took to social media in June to share his devastation at having to pull out of six further gigs after initially cancelling a concert at Caesars Palace.
“I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu,” Sir Rod wrote on Instagram. “So sorry my friends.”
“I’m devastated and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to my fans. I’ll be back on stage and will see you soon,” he added, signing off with a broken heart emoji.
Wife Penny Lancaster, 54, had expressed her fears surrounding her husband’s health and upcoming Glastonbury set, explaining: “He had influenza A, which is the worst one you can get.”
Speaking to Hello! magazine, she share: “It knocked him sideways – he’s never been so ill in his entire life. About five days before Glastonbury, Rod said, ‘I don’t think I’m going to be well enough. I tried my voice out and it’s not working.’

Thankfully for his family and fans alike, Stewart was fighting fit ahead of his performances at Glastonbury, which was held the final weekend in June.
His set was dubbed “iconic”, with the BBC describing the event as a: “Vegas nightclub for 90 minutes”.
“He was on voice rest, and I was very, very strict with him.” Lancaster said, adding she had told her husband: “‘You have to visualise yourself being on stage and the great headlines, and manifest this whole experience, because it’s going to happen.'”
Speaking to the publication, the Loose Women presenter continued: “He came off stage with the biggest grinning face.”
Steward bagged the coveted legends slot, one of the most prestigious sets in music for some of the biggest names.
Lionel Richie, Dolly Parton, and Kylie Minogue are among those few who have played Glastonbury’s iconic Legends slot.
The second leg of the tour will run until mid-December, including both North American and European dates.
Despite being named the One Last Time tour, the singer has said he has no plans to retire.
