Romeo Beckham makes feelings clear after being unfollowed by brother Brooklyn amid rift as he issues cryptic response

Romeo Beckham has responded to his brother Brooklyn’s decision to unfollow him on Instagram with a pointed social media post.

The 22-year-old appeared to directly respond to the brutal snub from his older brother in the hours after Brooklyn’s savage gesture hit headlines.

Romeo shared a screenshot of his Spotify showing he was listening to Justin Bieber’s song “Walking Away” from the artist’s new surprise album.

Alongside the screenshot, Romeo wrote simply: “Yup” in what appears to be a direct response to his older brother’s latest move in their ongoing family rift.

As well as the “Yup” post, Romeo has since returned the gesture by unfollowing Brooklyn on Instagram, and sources confirm he also does not follow Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, on the platform.

The social media severance marks a significant escalation in the reported family tensions.

Brooklyn and Nicola continue to follow his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, suggesting the rift is specifically between the siblings rather than involving the entire family.

The unfollowing comes despite Brooklyn’s recent birthday tribute to his sister Harper on Thursday, when he posted a photo with the 14-year-old and his wife, writing “Happy birthday Harper we love u x.”

The family tensions have been building for months, with Brooklyn notably absent from his father David’s 50th birthday celebrations in London.

He also failed to publicly acknowledge David’s knighthood announcement and remained silent on Father’s Day.

Previous reports suggested tensions between Brooklyn and Romeo stemmed from claims involving Romeo’s ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull.

In June, model Kim addressed the allegations on Instagram, stating she would “not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative.”

She clarified: “I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16.”

Brooklyn’s relationship with Cruz had also deteriorated, reportedly puzzling Victoria and David, as the brothers had previously never had issues between them.

Brooklyn’s recent tribute to Harper contrasts sharply with his silence during other family milestones.

He failed to acknowledge his mother Victoria’s birthday or her father Tony’s birthday in May, though he did wish David’s mother Sandra a happy birthday two weeks ago.

The 26-year-old and his wife were in London in May filming an advert just over a mile from the family home, but did not visit Harper.

Sources close to the family had expressed concern that Brooklyn might not reach out for Harper’s birthday at all amid the ongoing feud.

Despite the current tensions, Brooklyn continues to follow his parents on Instagram.

Victoria is reportedly “desperate” for the family divisions to be resolved, with sources indicating the situation has been “devastating” for both her and David.
