Brooklyn Beckham posts gushing tribute to wife Nicola Peltz as sister Harper could be left ‘heartbroken’ by rift

Brooklyn Beckham has posted another loving tribute to his wife Nicola Peltz on Instagram, sharing a photograph of her beside Louis Vuitton luggage with the caption “My girl xx”.

The post comes as apparent tensions within the Beckham family continue, with Harper Beckham’s 14th birthday approaching on Thursday.

According to sources, Brooklyn is expected to miss his youngest sister’s celebrations amid the ongoing family rift.

The 26-year-old’s latest social media tribute to his wife follows what sources describe as a pattern of choosing his wife’s family over his own, having recently celebrated his father-in-law Nelson Peltz’s 83rd birthday whilst notably absent from David Beckham’s 50th birthday festivities in May.

A source told The Mirror that Brooklyn “doesn’t feel like he fits into the Beckham family right now” and believes his family haven’t treated Nicola well.

“Harper’s been particularly affected by what’s going on because she’s always been really close to Brooklyn,” the source claimed.

They added that the family had hoped Nicola would become “like a big sister to Harper in a house full of brothers” when she married Brooklyn, but “obviously that hasn’t happened”.

The source suggested it would be “potentially going to be heartbreaking for Harper if Brooklyn doesn’t show up for her on her birthday”.

They explained that whilst the fallout is primarily between Brooklyn and his parents, his younger siblings have “sadly become collateral damage” in the ongoing dispute.

Brooklyn’s absence from David’s milestone 50th birthday celebrations has become a focal point of the family tensions.

He missed both the pre-birthday festivities in the Cotswolds and Paris, as well as the star-studded dinner party at Michelin-starred Core restaurant in Notting Hill.

The celebration included guests such as Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria and Guy Ritchie, with sons Cruz and Romeo participating in the festivities.

Brooklyn also failed to acknowledge his father’s birthday on social media, despite posting a birthday tribute to Nelson Peltz after the billionaire’s celebration in Bedford, New York.

Nicola shared her own gushing tribute to her father, calling him the “most loving and supportive father I could ever dream of” and thanking him for “always being there for us”.

The oldest Beckham child’s social media activity has seemingly demonstrated where his loyalties lie, with sources noting it’s “becoming increasingly obvious” his priorities are with his wife and her family.

Last month, he marked the five-year anniversary of his proposal to Nicola, calling it his “best decision ever”.

The source also told the publication “He didn’t want it to turn out this way and he’s always been really close to all his siblings, but he is a married man now and his priorities have to lie somewhere else.”

It follows other social media tributes to his wife, with a post last month reading he would “always choose” her.

The family haven’t confirmed or commented on the alleged rift, with David and Victoria seeming to extend an olive branch to their son on a couple of occasions by including him in posts and tagging his Instagram, to which he failed to respond.
