Harriet Cowan, 24, shares ‘issue’ with newfound fame as she delivers warning to Clarkson’s Farm fans: ‘Wouldn’t have had a clue!’

Harriet Cowan, 24, has been forced to issue some words of warning to her newfound fanbase following her introduction to Amazon’s hit series Clarkson’s Farm.

The nurse and farmhand joined Jeremy Clarkson, 65, at his Oxfordshire farm to lend a hand while his farm manager, Kaleb Cooper, 26, was embarking on a nationwide tour during filming for season four.

Cowan’s arrival at Diddly Squat provided a fresh perspective for Clarkson and land agent Charlie Ireland on the farm, as well as giving the series as a whole a refreshing shake-up.

The farmhand spruced up Clarkson’s appearance, cleaned up his farmyard, and even shed light on how she combats loneliness within the farming community through social media, something the former Top Gear host hadn’t thought of before.

Cowan’s introduction has been one of the fourth season’s biggest talking points, not least because she’s drawn inevitable comparisons with Cooper.

The 24-year-old had to leave Diddly Squat and head back to Derbyshire once Cooper returned from tour, despite proving a “brilliant” addition in the eyes of Clarkson.

And as a result, the Clarkson’s Farm fandom was left calling for her to return and be made a permanent fixture in the cast.

Her arrival also led to calls for Cooper to be “axed” thanks to his dismissive first interaction with Cowan in which he was irked Clarkson had hired someone else to farm the farm.

In the days since her departure aired in the show, Cowan has been updating her newfound fanbase on social media with all the latest goings-on at her family’s farm in Derbyshire.

She’s also spoken publicly about her relationship with Cooper, sharing nothing but kind words about her co-star and dismissing any suggestion the two didn’t get along.

While the reception to her stint on the show has been overwhelmingly positive, Cowan did also have to urge some fans to “be kind” with their more divisive reactions, telling her followers that their “words matter”.

In her latest TikTok update, Cowan shared another negative consequence of her newfound fame, revealing several impostor accounts have emerged online since Clarkson’s Farm’s return.

Gerald Cooper sparks Clarkson’s Farm debate as fans distracted by change to Jeremy Clarkson’s palJames May, 62, issues warning to Jeremy Clarkson over Clarkson’s Farm pub purchase after own ordealHarriet Cowan, 24, sets record straight over ‘fake’ Clarkson’s Farm scene: ‘It is so real!’

“Hi everyone, hope everyone’s doing well,” Cowan said in a recent social media clip. “I’m just jumping on here really quickly to raise a bit of an issue that’s going on TikTok at the minute.

“Erm, there are a number of accounts that aren’t mine that are posing to be me like this one,” she continued as a picture of the account in question appeared on-screen.

Cowan went on: “This is not me, never has been, will never be. So if this is your account, please just take it down or pose as a fan account, that’s fine, just not posing to be me.

“It’s never been my second account, and a lot of these videos I’d never post anyway. I just don’t want people to fall for it and think, ‘Oh, she’s made a second account’, because it’s obviously generating a lot of views and followers. So please block it and report it.”

But the impostors didn’t stop there. “And then… this one too. Not me. I don’t have a private account. Please report and block and do not follow it,” she continued.

And there was a third fake account Cowan was keen to highlight: “And this one even more so… at least this one’s spelt my name right but it’s still not me.

“Please report and block, let’s get them taken down because they’re not me and they’re taking my videos and using them for their own benefit.”

Setting the record straight, Cowan said: “This one is my only TikTok account and will be for the foreseeable and I’ll let you know if there’s a different one.

“So if anything else comes up, please block them and report them so they get taken down.

“Thank you to everyone that flagged them because I wouldn’t have had a clue without you guys.

“I just don’t want people falling for them and thinking I’ve said something I haven’t said.

“So thank you so much and thank you for all the love and support, it’s honestly crazy.”
