Victoria Beckham has revealed her upcoming Netflix docuseries will feature emotional moments, promising viewers there will be “tears” as she opens up about her life as creative director of her fashion and beauty brands.
The former Spice Girl admitted uncertainty about viewing the emotional scenes herself, as she stated: “There are tears.”
The 51-year-old added: “And it did occur to me the other day, what am I going to think when I see those tears on a huge screen? Or on an iPhone?”
Speaking to Bloomberg, the fashion designer acknowledged she has relinquished control over the final product, explaining: “To be completely honest, I am in the hands of the editor now.”
The docuseries will offer what she describes as a “warts-and-all insight into the blood, sweat and literal tears” involved in managing her fashion empire, which she launched in 2008.
The series will showcase Beckham’s day-to-day responsibilities running her global business, with husband David expected to have limited screen time compared to his wife’s prominent role.
Beckham joked about her husband’s potential involvement, saying: “Well, he might end up on the cutting-room floor. I mean, who knows?”
The Beckham children will also feature in the documentary, with Victoria confirming they are “a huge part of everything” and have been filmed alongside their father.
“They have filmed a little bit of David and the children because they’re such a huge part of everything,” she added.
However, Beckham did not confirm whether all four children will appear in the series.
The docuseries, which began filming in September and is expected to continue until June, may be released in late 2025, however no official date has been announced.
The programme announcement comes amid reports of an ongoing rift between Brooklyn Beckham and his family, with the eldest Beckham son notably absent from family gatherings for months.
Brooklyn has been missing from significant family celebrations, including David’s 50th birthday parties in Miami and London, and remained silent on social media during both his parents’ milestone birthdays.
The 26-year-old recently seemed to make his position clear in a pointed Instagram post featuring a video of himself and wife Nicola Peltz riding a motorcycle.
In the caption, Brooklyn wrote: “My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.”
The message appeared to pledge his loyalty to Nicola amid reports she has been at the centre of the family fallout.
Family sources have described Brooklyn’s Instagram post as both “disappointing but unsurprising” if intended as a criticism of his family.
A source close to the Beckhams told The Sun the message seemed “very pointed” and showed “how much this situation with his family has escalated.”
