Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson is set to reveal the truth behind her departure from the band and chronicle her journey to motherhood in a new six-part Amazon Prime documentary series.
The 33-year-old singer, who recently gave birth to twin daughters Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster on May 15, will open up about her high-risk pregnancy and life after leaving the global pop phenomenon.
Titled “Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix”, the series will offer fans an intimate look at Nelson’s most transformative journey yet as she embraces motherhood with partner Zion by her side.
The documentary will also shine a light on the real reasons behind her startling exit from Little Mix in 2020, as well as her struggles with fame and mental health.
The documentary will follow Nelson through the emotional rollercoaster of her pregnancy complications, including Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome – a rare and potentially life-threatening condition that could have been fatal for one or both twins.
Nelson had been open about her high-risk pregnancy on social media, regularly sharing updates with fans.
She recently underwent surgery due to the condition, with the series set to document her weekly hospital visits and the unwavering support of her loved ones.
According to Prime Video, viewers will witness Nelson confronting her deepest fears while embracing newfound strength during this challenging period.
The series follows her 2019 BBC One documentary ‘Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out’, in which she previously opened up about cyberbullying and its impact on her mental health.
