Oasis fans go wild as Gallagher brothers reveal surprise ticket drop

Oasis fans across the UK are in a frenzy after receiving emails about a limited ticket release for the band’s highly anticipated reunion tour.

The special release is set to take place tomorrow, May 20, at 8am BST.

The emails – sent to selected fans – have sparked excitement as they offer a final chance to secure tickets for the Gallagher brothers’ first performances together in 16 years, following the overwhelming demand that crashed Ticketmaster when tickets initially went on sale last August.

The email, as shared by fans on social media, states: “A limited amount of production release tickets have been made available for Oasis’ Live ’25 UK dates in Cardiff, London, and Edinburgh.”

Recipients have been specifically selected to receive a code for the limited release, giving them exclusive access to purchase tickets that have become available as part of the production allocation for these major venues.

Several fans have confirmed on social media platform X that they’ve already benefited from this opportunity.

One user reported: “I got one last Friday and bagged 2 x tickets for Wembley.”

Another initially concerned recipient wrote: “OMG I got this email too but was worried it was a scam. I’m still going to try it though.”

Some fans are holding out hope for specific venues, with one commenting: “I’m hoping because I only tried for Manchester, that I am given code for a Manchester release. As I’ve not seen one for MCR yet.”

Meanwhile, bassist Andy Bell has confirmed he will be joining the Gallagher brothers for the reunion tour.

Bell, who joined Oasis in 2000, told an Austrian newspaper: “I’m in and I’m really looking forward to it. We’ll see each other on tour. Or rather, you’ll see me – I’ll hardly be able to see you in the audience.”

The 54-year-old musician has been performing with his own band, Ride, since Oasis split in 2009, leaving fans uncertain whether he would participate in the reunion.

The Oasis reunion tour is set to begin on July 4 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Bell’s home city. The tour will include sixteen gigs across the UK, followed by several international dates, culminating on November 23 in São Paulo, Brazil.

Bell will be joining other original members including Gem Archer and Bonehead, as well as drummer Joey Waronker, who are all reuniting with the Gallagher brothers for what’s being billed as their final tour together.

Fans hoping for new Oasis music will be disappointed, as the band’s co-manager Alec McKinlay recently told Music Week: “This is the last time around, as Noel has made clear in the press.

“It is a chance for fans who haven’t seen the band to see them, or at least for some of them to. But no, there’s no plan for any new music.”

The Cardiff opening show will see more than 74,000 people in attendance, marking Oasis’ first performance since what was thought to be their farewell at V Festival in August 2009.
