Gogglebox favourite Pete Sandiford is known for keeping viewers entertained with his quick wit and hilarious commentary every Friday night.
But fans also appreciate the rare glimpses he shares of his personal life, especially when it comes to his marriage to wife Paige Yeomans.
The Blackpool-based roofer appears on the hit Channel 4 show alongside his younger sister Sophie, and over the years, he’s used the platform to quietly announce some of life’s biggest milestones, including his engagement, marriage, and the births of his two children, Jimmy and Eva.
However, Sandiford has also opened up about the more everyday realities of married life- including the occasional clash with Yeomans.
During a recent episode, Sandiford recounted a relatable disagreement the couple had while planning their daughter Eva’s birthday party.
“Paige has been doing my head in,” he told Sophie.
“You know Eva’s birthday party? ‘Have you rung about the hot pot? Have you rung about the hot pot?’ I was in a meeting at work the other day and she rung me four times. Guess what about?”
He added, with a laugh: “Honestly, I said, ‘Why are we not just having sandwiches? Do I look like I am Jeff Bezos?'”
In another moment, Sandiford shared how Yeomans love of tidying up sometimes leads to household disputes- especially when he can’t find important things.

“I had them on the windowsill in the bedroom, though you know what Paige is like,” he told Sophie while stressing over a missing logbook.
Without missing a beat, Sophie joked: “Bin,” referencing her sister-in-law’s tendency to declutter without warning.
Sandiford and Sophie joined Gogglebox in 2017 and quickly became fan favourites thanks to their quick-fire banter and clear affection for one another.
Their humour runs in the family, as the siblings are distantly related to comedy legends the Chuckle Brothers.
Sandiford rarely discussed relationships on the show before Yeomans came into his life.
The couple tied the knot in 2021, welcomed their son Jimmy later that year, and in 2023 celebrated the arrival of their daughter Eva.
Since starting a family, Sandiford has moved out of the home where Gogglebox is filmed—leaving Sophie living there alone.
Speaking to The Metro, Sophie once revealed how the living arrangement came to be.
“We live in the same house. Pete bought the house and did it up,” she said.
“I sneakily just pitched up with my stuff one day and said, ‘I’m not going home’. That’s how I moved in. Then I bought the house off Pete.”
