Bafta TV Awards 2025 red carpet LIVE: Celebrities don eye-catching outfits as they attend television awards ceremony

The Bafta Television Awards 2025 are taking place today at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London with celebs arriving in their droves for this year’s ceremony.

The star-studded event celebrates the best of British television, with numerous high-profile nominees expected to attend.

Among the early arrivals were former Love Island host Laura Whitmore, Big Brother presenter Will Best, and TV star Ria Hebden.

This annual event recognises outstanding performances and productions across various categories including Drama Series, Limited Drama, Scripted Comedy and Reality and Constructed Factual.

This year’s ceremony will see a change in host, with Alan Cumming taking over from previous presenters Romesh Ranganathan and Rob Beckett.

Cumming is best known for hosting The Traitors US and his roles in GoldenEye and The Good Wife. His most recent work includes an appearance in Doctor Who.

Emma Baehr, executive director of awards & content at BAFTA, said Cumming “will definitely bring a playful sense of mischief and fun to the ceremony”.

The ceremony itself will feature special musical performances from chart-topping artists Jessie J and Tom Grennan.

Award-winning concert violinist Esther Abrami will also perform during the In Memoriam tribute.

The competition is expected to be fierce, with many big-named performers nominated for awards.

Notable figures anticipated to attend include Damian Lewis, Jessica Gunning, Billie Piper, Danny Dyer, Hiroyuki Sanada and Richard Gadd.

Other celebrities expected at the ceremony include Graham Norton and Nicola Coughlan.

Netflix’s Baby Reindeer was nominated for eight awards when the full list was announced earlier this year and is expected to perform well.

Elsewhere, Disney+’s Rivals, Apple’s Slow Horses, and ITV’s Mr Bates Vs The Post Office also have several nods apiece.
