Amanda Owen, 50, hasn’t let comments about her appearance and conduct following a TV interview on Tuesday stand in the way of her updating her fans.
On Tuesday morning, the mum-of-nine joined Lorraine Kelly on her ITV talk show to provide an update from the Dales ahead of the second series of her More4 series, Our Farm Next Door.
Owen sported a figure-hugging brown vest and jeans for the occasion, showing off her toned biceps, and was joined by one of her many horses for the interview.
However, viewers at home felt something was amiss as it became clear moments into the discussion that she was struggling to grapple with the restless animal.
An animated Owen also spent much of the interview talking over Kelly while she struggled to remain stationed in one spot, erratically gesturing to the landscape around her.
Some viewers were concerned with Owen’s appearance after noticing a marked difference in her look from her Our Yorkshire Farm days, while others even accused the Yorkshire Shepherdess of “slurring” during the interview.

Despite the debate that erupted following her interview with Kelly, which hasn’t been shared by the show’s social accounts since, Owen has ignored the naysayers.
Instead, Owen did break cover after the interview with Kelly, but rather than allay concerns, she turned attention to the new series of Our Farm Next Door.
Owen shared a snap of her young daughter, Clemmie, nine, cradling a baby lamb from inside their home on Tuesday night, urging fans to tune in to the new episode.
“It would be a baaaaaaaad move to miss Our Farm Next Door,” Owen penned in the accompanying caption to her 533k followers.
She continued: “Join us now on More4 or later on catchup. #yorkshire #farm #shepherdess #ourfarmnextdoor.”
Before long, the post caught the eye of her fans, who similarly decided to ignore the concerns that arose after her appearance on ITV.
“Enjoy your programme so much, can’t wait for the next episode,” one follower said in response, before a second echoed: “Brilliant viewing thank you very much all of you.”
And a third concurred: “So happy to have you all back on our screens, I’ve even stayed up late tonight.”
The reception was a marked difference from what Owen received hours earlier when her interview with Kelly was broadcast live.
During the chat, Owen discussed the time that has passed between the first and second series of her More4 series, why a house restoration project has taken a “back seat”, the dynamic between her and ex-husband Clive, and her decision to home-school her teenage son, Sydney.
While Kelly did urge Owen to nudge the horse out of the shot due to its disruptive behaviour, she didn’t appear to share fans’ concerns about Owen’s wellbeing or behaviour.
In fact, as she signed off, Kelly was full of nothing but admiration for Owen, branding her “amazing” and “remarkable” for the work she does up at Ravenseat.
Viewers at home had a different reaction, though, with one writing during the show on Tuesday morning: “Is Amanda ok? Something doesn’t seem right #Lorraine.”
“Is Amanda Owen ok?” a second pondered. “Seems a bit slurring and stuttery… #lorraine.”
Elsewhere, a third added: “#Lorraine What on earth… She’s obviously been given the horse to lean on. Should not have continued with interview.”
“Amanda Owen looks in need of help. Right now. Welfare check asap. @lorraine @ITV,” a fourth agreed, before a fifth said: “Yeah something is off #lorraine.” (sic)
