Former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson remains in hospital as she continues to battle pregnancy complications with her twins, but took to her social media over the weekend to congratulate her boyfriend, Zion Foster, for taking part in the London Marathon.
The 33-year-old singer has been hospitalised since late March after being diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), a rare condition that puts her unborn babies at risk.
Nelson, who is now seven months pregnant, must stay under medical supervision as doctors fear she could go into early labour at any moment, with TTTS being a serious condition caused by abnormal blood vessel connections in the placenta.
The diagnosis came as a shock to the couple, who admitted they had no idea what TTTS was before doctors explained it, with the star previously undergoing a successful emergency procedure after revealing her twins are “living off one placenta”.
The operation was ultimately successful, but doctors have advised she must remain hospitalised for the remainder of her pregnancy due to the high-risk nature of her condition.
In a heartwarming display of dedication, Nelson’s partner completed the London Marathon yesterday with just four weeks of training to raise funds for Twins Trust charity.

The charity, which supports parents of multiples and improves maternity care, holds special significance for the couple as they navigate their own twin pregnancy complications.
Foster ran the gruelling 26.2-mile race in honour of their unborn children, raising nearly £5,000 for the cause according to his JustGiving page.
Nelson watched the marathon coverage from her hospital bed, sharing that she felt “emotional” knowing he was running for their babies.
Following the marathon, Nelson shared an emotional tribute to Foster on Instagram, posting a photo of him beaming during the race and penned: “I honestly didn’t think I could love you any more than I already do @zionfoster but you have made me and our babies the proudest!!!!”
“Words will never be enough to let you know how proud I am of you. The most amazing human and daddy, we love you baby, you smashed the London Marathon!!!!”
Foster responded in the comments: “I can’t believe I actually completed it… LOVE YOU”
Nelson revealed in a video update last month why she cannot leave the hospital: “My cervix is very, very short, so I can’t leave the hospital because my waters could break at any point, and I’m still very, very early.
“I can’t leave the hospital until I’m a certain number of weeks, so every week, we’re just like, ‘Please stay in there.”
Despite the challenging circumstances, the couple has been trying to make the best of their situation, though Foster recently admitted the extended hospital stay has been difficult.
He told OK! magazine: “The same four walls are driving us a bit crazy. I think it’s at these times when you really, really know what love you have and what your relationship means.
“And I think for me and Jess, this has just taken it to a whole other level of us knowing we are literally made for each other.”
To make their extended hospital stay more comfortable, the couple has transformed the clinical space into something more homely.
“There’s a couch that turns into a bed that we pushed next to the hospital bed, so we’ve made our own double bed. The nurses just said, ‘Oh, my God. It looks so nice in here. It looks so homely’.”
Medical professionals are hoping Nelson can reach at least 32 weeks in her pregnancy before the twins are born.
