Molly-Mae Hague sets record straight on Tommy Fury romance as she breaks silence on joint holiday despite split

Molly-Mae Hague has broken her silence on her relationship status with Tommy Fury following their recent family holiday to Dubai.

The 25-year-old influencer addressed speculation about a reconciliation with her ex-fiancé in her latest YouTube vlog.

“We’re just figuring things out,” Hague told her followers as she opened up about their current situation.

The former Love Island couple, who shocked fans when they announced their split last August after five years together, have been spotted spending time together in recent months.

Hague admitted she’s “not quite ready to talk about” the details of their relationship but confirmed they are working on rebuilding what they had.

The couple enjoyed what Hague described as “probably the best holiday ever for all of us” during their sun-soaked getaway to Dubai with their two-year-old daughter Bambi.

Both had shared separate social media updates from the UAE without featuring each other, though Hague hinted at Fury’s presence with an image of three drinks on a table.

The trip went so well that Hague unexpectedly extended their stay.

“I am the biggest homebody ever but something about this trip… I never want it to end,” she wrote on social media at the time.

Upon returning to the UK, she shared photos captioned: “A very wholesome time was had.”

In her vlog, Hague explained the challenges of working on their relationship while in the public eye.

“When you have a relationship in the public eye, trying to rebuild that relationship or work on that relationship or see if you have something worth saving… You can’t figure things out the way a normal relationship would,” she said.

She added: “You can’t do the normal things a couple trying to work on their relationship normally do like going on walks or getting coffee.”

The influencer acknowledged the situation was “private, but also it’s not really private” given their fame.

“We’re just figuring things out and seeing how it goes,” she whispered as Bambi played beside her.

The couple’s split last August came as a shock to fans after five years together and an engagement.

Fury later revealed that alcohol problems were the real cause of their breakup, firmly denying claims he had cheated.

“The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore,” he told Men’s Health magazine.

In her documentary Behind It All, Hague discussed how alcohol had affected their relationship.

“He’s never had an alcohol problem, but alcohol caused problems for us,” she explained to her mother in the Prime Video series.

The pair were later filmed sharing a passionate kiss on New Year’s Eve.

Sources suggest Fury has been spending increasing amounts of time at the house he once shared with Hague.

“Tommy’s been spending more and more time at the house again – he’s even talking about moving back in properly,” a source told The Mirror.

The insider added: “It’s baby steps, but it’s clear the love is still there.”

The couple’s Dubai trip reportedly marked a significant moment in their reconciliation journey.

“This wasn’t just a sunshine getaway – it felt like a turning point,” the source claimed.

“They’ve both acknowledged how tough the past few months have been, but now they’re focused on moving forward, not looking back.”

Hague also addressed rumours that she was holding back information about her relationship with Fury for a planned announcement.

“I’ve seen things saying, ‘They aren’t talking about their relationship because they’re saving it for the last episode of the documentary where they are going to do a collab post and come out saying that they’re back together.’ That’s not the case at all,” she clarified.

The influencer insisted her reluctance to discuss details stems from not being ready. “The only reason I have not spoken about it is because I’m not ready to. I don’t know how I want to talk about it. Or if I ever do,” she explained.

The duo first met on Love Island in 2019 and welcomed Bambi in January 2023.
